I’m glad you’re here!
I’m Kate Kehayes, MS, NCC, LCMHC
I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accredited counseling program at East Carolina University (MS). I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) #15548 in North Carolina. I am also a National Board Certified Counselor, (NCC) #901910.
In short — all those letters after my name mean I’ve put a lot of time and energy into becoming qualified to be your therapist.
As a therapist my approach is: relational, person-centered, neuro-affirming, and trauma informed. I place the utmost value on building a safe, private, and supportive space for you to explore your inner and outer worlds.
Outside of the therapy space: you’ll find me reading, spending as much time in water as possible, snuggling with my dogs, or at the nearest indie movie theater. i love punk and new wave music, but am always up for hearing about your favorite band.
